Your tour begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Aswan. First, you’ll be transported to Kalabsha Temple, one of the largest freestanding temples of the New Kingdom in Nubia, meticulously relocated to its current site on Agilkia Island after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Explore its impressive pylons, hypostyle hall, and sanctuaries dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis. Afterwards, we proceed to the excellent Nubian Museum in Aswan. Here, you’ll uncover over 3,000 artifacts tracing the history of Nubia from prehistoric times to the present day, including magnificent statues, pottery, and traditional Nubian crafts. The museum’s architecture and landscaping also reflect traditional Nubian village life. Concluding the tour, you will be comfortably transferred back to your hotel.
