Day 1: Early morning transfer from your Cairo hotel to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your private Egyptologist guide and begin your exploration of the magnificent East Bank. Visit the colossal Karnak Temple Complex, a sprawling city of temples, pylons, and obelisks dedicated to the Theban triad. Continue to Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night, before checking into your hotel for an overnight stay in Luxor. Day 2: After breakfast, cross over to the legendary West Bank of Luxor. Discover the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of pharaohs, and marvel at the intricately decorated tombs, including that of Tutankhamun (exterior view, additional ticket for interior). Proceed to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning example of New Kingdom architecture carved into the cliff face. Conclude your West Bank tour with a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Afterwards, enjoy lunch before being transferred to Luxor Airport for your return flight to Cairo, followed by a transfer back to your hotel.
